Welcome to a special holiday episode of Local Search Tuesdays. This week, I’m continuing tradition and sharing a list of the 10 movies I’m most excited about this holiday season.

It’s a tradition to share a list of movies on the Halloween and Christmas episodes every year, and I’ve already covered all of the Christmas movies at this point, so this year, I’m sharing my list of the movies I’m most excited to see this holiday season. So here we go:

Number 10: The Color Purple
If you haven’t heard yet, they’re releasing a musical version of The Color Purple, and it’s got a stellar cast. Pretty psyched to see this one.

Number 9: Wonka
They’re really trying to milk this story for everything, but I’m excited to see this one. The trailers look great and I’ve heard good things.

Number 8: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom
This is the last of the Snyderverse movies before James Gunn hits the reset button on DC movies. It’s probably going to be a train wreck, but I’m so there for it.

Number 7: Ferrari
Adam Driver. The story of Ferrari. That’s all I need to say.

Number 6: Taylor Swift’s tour movie
Ok, I admit it, I’m a Swiftie. I was a horrible father and missed out on getting tickets to the live show, so I’m excited to finally get to watch it at home with my daughter Penelope.

Number 5: Poor Things
This looks gloriously weird and wacky, and it’s an absolutely stacked cast.

Number 4: Iron Claw
I am beyond excited for this one. I remember seeing the Von Erichs wrestle in Dallas back in the 80s, so I can’t wait to see the story on the big screen.

Number 3: Silent Night
This is basically a Christmas version of John Wick, and Joel Kinneman is a badass, so it’s probably going to rule.

Number 2: Rebel Moon
Have you seen the trailer for this? Holy crapballs, it looks insanely awesome. This almost made the top of the list, except for…

Number 1: Die Hard
Come on, are you really surprised? It’s not Christmas if you don’t see Hans fall.

And I can’t finish this list without an honorable mention… It doesn’t come out until next year, but they just announced it, and I can pretty much guarantee you that it will be my favorite Christmas movie of all time. Terrifier 3 comes out next year, and Art the Clown continues his over-the-top gory rampage at Christmas. It’s going to be epic.

So that’s my list of holiday movies for 2023, and that’s all the time we’ve got left for this week’s episode, so you know what that means.

We totally just high-fived ‘cause you learned something awesome. Thanks for watching, and we’ll see you again next week for another episode of Local Search Tuesdays.
