Welcome a special holiday episode of Local Search Tuesdays. It’s almost Christmas, so that means it’s time for this year’s Christmas movie list!

If you’ve been watching this series for more than a few episodes, you already know how obsessed I am with movies. Every year on Halloween and Christmas, I take a break from talking about digital marketing to share a list of movies to watch.

Since I was out of the country for 3 weeks, I missed a lot of the holiday season movies that have come out, so don’t come at me because of the several on the list that have been out for a while. So here’s the list of movies I’m psyched to see in the theater this holiday season:

Number 10: Mufasa: The Lion King
I know, I know, all the live action Disney remakes are getting to be a bit too much… But this Lion King prequel looks pretty rad.

Number 9: Red One
Apparently this kinda tanked in theaters, but it’s already set viewership records for Amazon Prime. It looks like dumb fun, so I’m totally onboard.

Number 8: Moana 2
I’m a bit sketchy about this one since Lin Manuel didn’t write the songs, but my daughter was obsessed with Moana when she was younger, so we’re really excited for this one.

Number 7: Y2K
I’m a sucker for horror movies, especially when they’re funny. This looks like it has potential, but it could also end up being just dumb. The trailer looks awesome, so I have high hopes.

Number 6: A Complete Unkown
I’m also a sucker for musical bio flicks, and if the trailer is any clue at all, Muad’Dib really nails Bob Dylan, so this should be fun.

Number 5: Werewolves
No, I’m not embarrassed to have this on the list. It looks gloriously awful, and I’ve been waiting for months to see it.

Number 4: Gladiator 2
I’m a huge fan of the original, and I’ve heard great things about the sequel. Definitely want to check this one out on the big screen.

Number 3: Wicked
I’m also a massive fan of musicals, and I’ve seen Wicked a few times on stage (it was AWESOME in London). Super psyched to see it, I’ve heard nothing but praise.

Number 2: Nosferatu
This one looks so ridiculously awesome, I’ve been anxious to see this ever since they announced it.

And number 1: Terrifier 3
Come on, this is the least surprising inclusion on this list. It’s being re-released for Christmas, since it’s a Christmas movie – and I definitely won’t miss the opportunity to see it in the theater again.

So that’s the list of the 10 movies I’m most excited to see this holiday season, and that’s all the time we have left for this week’s episode, so you know what that means.
Put your hand on the screen right here:
We totally just high-fived ‘cause you learned something awesome. Thanks for watching, and we’ll see you again next week for another episode of Local Search Tuesdays.
