Sales Representative

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year plus bonus

The Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in helping SearchLab grow and meet our client acquisition and growth goals. We need someone with proven sales experience.

The Sales Representative is expected to cultivate new business relationships in target markets which include automotive dealerships, law firms, medical practices, and small businesses with high customer lifetime value. You need to be comfortable making dozens of calls daily, generating interest, qualifying leads, and closing sales.

We’re also looking for someone with face-to-face skills since SearchLab exhibits at many conferences and trade shows. One of the Sales Representative’s responsibilities is to represent SearchLab at these shows and facilitate sales.
We prefer candidates with 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Completion of a minimum number of weekly outbound cold calls and emails to potential clients
  • Consistent use of our CRM to record sales communications and track opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Setting up and shepherding leads through the entire sale process
  • Ability to organize, prepare, and lead sales demonstrations for prospective clients
  • Mastering the use of available sales tools to reach potential customers
  • Ability to travel to live events to represent SearchLab and either sell or set up appointments for future sales
  • Support the Director of Business Development with ad hoc requests
  • Monitor and evaluate results in order to hit target sales goals
  • Communicate and work effectively within a competitive environment
  • Understand client needs and offer solutions to address those needs
  • Research potential clients, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest
  • Qualify inbound leads from conferences, virtual events, and digital campaigns
  • Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and performance metrics
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Comfortable making cold calls on a daily basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work within a collaborative sales environment involving multiple stakeholders
  • Adeptness at working in a constantly changing, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
